Built in 1810, the Madie Carroll House was originally constructed in Ohio and transported by flatboat to its present location in West Virginia. It is located in the suburb of Guyandotte, east of Huntington, north of Rotary Park and just blocks from the Ohio River. The house has many antiques and furnishings, including an antique pump organ, and hosts historical events including Guyandotte Civil War Days in November.
